Course Overview
The Certificate Petroleum Safety Manager &
Administrator (PSMA) – Drilling & Servicing reflects a management-level
proficiency in operational practices, regulations, and essential tools vital to
maintaining safety across the broad and complex petroleum industry. It covers
the diverse expertise and leadership skills necessary to continuously update
processes, ensure regulatory compliance, and enhance operational effectiveness.
This course equips students with the knowledge and capabilities needed to stay
informed about current regulations, procedures, and evolving industry standards
related to the safe drilling and servicing of oil wells. The time required to
complete the course will vary based on each student's familiarity with
workplace safety; however, the average completion time is around 40 hours.
Students are given up to six months to finish the course.
