Our mission is to make world-class occupational safety and health education accessible to every worker, supervisor, and organization — regardless of geography, industry, or company size — and to issue certifications that genuinely reflect the competence, knowledge, and professionalism of the people who earn them.

We pursue this mission through four commitments that guide everything we build:

• Accessibility. Safety knowledge should not be a privilege reserved for large corporations with dedicated training budgets. We design our courses and delivery formats — in-person, online, and blended — to reach small contractors, individual workers, and multinational employers alike, in the settings and time frames that fit their operations.
• Relevance. Our curricula are built around the hazards people actually face on the job — fall risks on a construction site, chemical exposure in a processing plant, electrical hazards in general industry — rather than generic, one-size-fits-all content. Our vision is to be global trusted authority in occupational safety certification — an organization whose name signals genuine competence, whose training providers are held to consistently enforced quality standards, and whose credentials employers can rely on without hesitation.

For learners and safety professionals, we envision ISSB as a clear, credible pathway for career growth — one where a foundational safety credential can grow into a management-level certification, and where the effort put into earning a credential translates into real recognition in the job market.

For employers, we envision ISSB as a dependable signal in hiring and compliance decisions — a certification that can be verified in seconds and trusted without requiring employers to independently audit the training behind it. We want "ISSB certified" to mean something specific and consistent, whether the credential holder trained in a major metropolitan hub or a remote regional training center.
