Petroleum Safety Specialist (PSS) – Refinery Series
Course Overview
This
course focuses on identifying common hazards and providing potential solutions
to reduce incidents that could result in injuries or fatalities. It is intended
for individuals with additional safety responsibilities, such as engineers,
operators, foremen, safety committee members, supervisors, and managers. It is
also an ideal starting point for those beginning their career as safety
professionals in the petroleum industry. The time required to complete the
course depends on your prior knowledge of workplace safety, but the average
completion time is about 24 hours. You have up to six months to
finish the course.
